LIONS PRIMED FOR T20 GF AFTER FEASTING ON BATTERED SHARKS
Our impressive cubs have progressed to the SECA Knight Sport T20 Grand Final with a thrilling last-over win against Washington Park at Centenary on Tuesday evening.
In blustery conditions, Wash Ups batted first and knocked up a competitive score of 4/159. All the boys bowled well to restrict the visitors, with Malin, Buddhika and Harry the wicket-takers.
In return, in-form cubs Trent (52 off 27) and Josh (26 off 23) got the innings off to a flyer. With the game going down to the wire, two more youngsters stood up, with the skipper, Shorty (53 off 34), and Hugo (22 off 25) guiding us home with just five balls to spare.
You know what means?
