Senior Women's
Today’s match was a brilliant showcase of the girls hard work and growth! The team demonstrated fantastic teamwork on the field with strong backing up, which minimized runs and tightened up our defense. The energy was high throughout, driven by positive communication and encouragement between players, reflecting a real unity and passion that’s building with every game. We’re seeing the team gel together in a way that shows in the results—improvement each week, highlighted by today’s batting where six players retired not out, and we lost only a single wicket. Such disciplined and controlled play is a testament to the progress we’re making as a team. We’re looking forward to carrying this momentum into our next home game against Mackie on the 10th!

Under 12As certainly had a tough day at the office, against very strong combined Mackie/Bentliegh side. We won the toss and batted, scraping our way to 64, with our running between the wickets very much improved. With the ball, we struggled with consistency and one thing we have certainly noticed, since stepping in to the A division, is the bad bad ball certainly gets punished... Lots to work on, but we certainly have the crew prepared to put in the work

For round two the u14s team travelled to take on Bonbeach. Whilst the score was no in our favour, the development as a team from our first game was astounding. The pick of the bowlers were definitely Ethan and Mitch who offered some real attacking threats while Jack stood strong with the bat. A massive thankyou to the u12s who were at the game to help us; Bodhi, Tom, Levi and the two twins.

Noah’s phenomenal 70 off 25 balls was the clear highlight, as he powered through with a blistering innings that gave the team a fighting chance. Despite their best efforts, Elwood chased down the target, reaching 3/165 in 20 overs. While it wasn’t the result we hoped for, Noah’s remarkable knock was a standout, showcasing his skill and determination.
